LiveStream (formerly known as Mogulus) is an application that allows you to broadcast or live stream your channel right onto your Web site. You can build your own channel with either your content or content provided by LiveStream.

LiveStream is great for elections, award shows, sporting events, concerts, or any other activity going on at your school that you want to broadcast live. LiveStream also gives you the option of internally recording anything you stream on your channel. Other great features provided by LiveStream include an internal chat room for each channel's video, a customization menu for each embeddable channel, and a statistics panel displaying how many viewers are tuned into a channel.

And with LiveStream's numerous channels, you also have access to a variety of content available to stream right on your site.

To begin using LiveStream, you will need to set up a profile/user name by going to Livestream.com. After you have your user name set up, click the "Broadcast Now" button to begin live streaming directly from your camera.
(Note: If you are planning on broadcasting an event taking place where your are, you must have a camera that can connect to your computer for the live streaming to work.)

After connecting your camera to your computer, a new window will pop up with connection options, recording options and an embed code. Copy that code into an article on your site's admin.

Click "Go Live" to begin live streaming the event you are capturing on camera.

To take advantage of LiveStream's other channels, search for your desired video and under the "Menu" button click "Embed This Channel". You can customize the size of your object to place in an article.

This is an example of an embeddable channel available on LiveStream.
